Your first day with Fetch Surf Concept is designed to set the tone for the week—focused, grounded, and ready to grow.
We begin at our meeting point in Uluwatu, where we conduct a full surf check. Together we analyse the forecast, tide, wind, and wave quality to choose the best spot. This isn’t just about chasing waves—it’s about understanding the ocean and reading it like a surfer.
Before entering the water, we take a moment for our emotional readiness test—a short but powerful exercise that helps you check in with how you’re feeling mentally and physically. Surfing isn’t just about the body; it’s about your mindset, and we want to know where you’re at, so we can guide you better.
Then, we paddle out for your first guided surf session. Our certified coaches stay close, offering real-time feedback while capturing the entire session on video. You’ll focus on basic positioning, paddling technique, and early take-off control—core skills that define a surfer’s progression.
After lunch, you’ll join a specially designed surf recovery session guided by a performance coach, followed by indoor video analysis and theory. We introduce one of the most fundamental techniques in surfing: the W paddling position.
From Day 2 onwards, we continue building on this foundation. Each day combines guided surfing, recovery and theory, with consistent feedback and personal attention to help you progress with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
